Not too many. From what I know, AA still has daily 777 service to NRT (used to be a M11), and used to fly to TPE on a M11 as well, but that route has been cancelled long ago. Other than that, SJC is narrowbody territory, except for possible equipment swaps by AA or DL.

AA used to have both MD11s and DC10s in the 90s/80s. Now just a 777 morning flight to Japan. Also UPS has 763 service and FedEx has DC10 service. Nothing else at the moment.

Back in January 1991, a first AAL MD11 was completing a touch and go session...

ATI also has a DC-8 cargo flight and Airborne Express has a 762, AA on occasion will sub flights with a 762 or 763.

SJC-TPE was initiated and terminated with 772ER service.

I'm sure a few Fedex DC-10's pass through daily.

Also AA's daily SJC-CDG service with 763, ended after 9/11 along with the TPE service.

Did AA ever use its 747SP on SJC-NRT?

...sh'yeah. That service was (literally) a mistake from the start-- I'm surprised they even bothered starting it after the rejection.

Oh, whoops how can I forget. I also see A300s for cargo occasionally at SJC, and once a World MD11.
