Well for all Jetphotos.net members who are on live... Yes, the 1rst A340-600 for Thaļ Airways has taken off from Toulouse-Blagnac airport today at 11h00am... And will be come back between 14h an 16h.... Pictures for you will added soon if the screeners will be "OK" with them ))

Departed to Phuket in 3 at 4 weeks.... Before it makes just 3 another test flights -> Photo flight test, Phase II flight test and Acceptance flight test... With, perhaps another test, I don't know...
Thai's new livery is just not working, the back is nice but kind of cheapish in a over worked kind of way, or the colours, compared with the previous scheme, the front is too blah! I think they should have gone metallic white for the front and engines as well, it gives a kind of pearly beige-grey shine, you can see it in photos of Etihad Airways and Air Dolomiti who us the same metallic/Mica paint.

I don't think it's too bad at all on the 346s... in fact, i quite like it But on the 744, it makes the acft look way too short, it's kinda funny to look at... I adore Thai though, now they just need PTVs in eco class on their 744 and I'll know who my fave airline beside SQ is
