Disappointing, but hopefully the pilots made the right decision and they will reorder the planes in the future.

I really think that Air Canada made a big mistake by announcing a big suprising order (switching from Airbus to Boeing) and now quietly cancelling the order. I always thought they were more careful in their business decisions than other airlines, but I guess not. Airlines should use this as an example,"Think before you Act". They should have announced their final decision after the pilot vote.

Air Canada is going to eventually regard this decision as the most boneheaded decisions they've made. I mean it's like getting in line for tickets to a really popular show, getting a guaranteed spot in line but then deciding to get out of line because your buddies don't want to go to the concert.
