  • Continental Flt. 29 makes a fuel stop in Albany!!

Well, its been 3 years since the last visit of a 777, and that was COA too! It arrived with just over 13,000lbs, and fueled to 39,500lbs. It was supposed to go to Newark from London Gatwick. Stopped just long enough to get a quick shot... Sorry its all washed out, as I did not take the photo!! ( like I could do better!) My first close encounter with a 777 went well! well, heres the shot, and me in all my glory! (Oh brother!) I was impressed... You guys that see 777's all the time sure are lucky!!

Wow! What a great comparison showing you the amazing size of that engine. I've seen 777s before but up close like that the perspective is different!
    Thanks,
    Michael

      You gotta love diversions.

A week or so ago, 2 BA 777s diverted to YOW.

Wow! Too bad HPN can't support anything more than a measly 737. God, standing next to one of those GE-90's makes you feel awfully small.

Some explanations were surely asked to the flight deck crew members when reporting back to base Good to see Jay as a winner by getting this T7 at Albany.

The engine in the first pic looks larger, although that's not the case in reality.

39500lbs brought up to, had 13000lbs on board,

lbs to be added is 26500 divide that by 6.70 the density of jet a fuel, you get 3995 approximate gallons to add.. seeing how he drives 10,000 gallons ramp masters it appears, almost half of his truck .

                        hehehehehehe
