"Boeing's (BA ) board of directors has chosen W. James McNerney Jr., currently chairman and CEO of 3M (MMM ), to be its next chief executive, BusinessWeek Online has learned. McNerney has agreed to take the job, say sources familiar with the matter, and Boeing is expected to make the official announcement on the morning of June 30."
