I got to fly the supersonic Bay of Biscay trip from CDG to LHR on F-BVFA of Air France just to get a Concorde in my logbook.
Strangely this weekend trip that included an A300 flight out to Paris and two nights in a hotel was cheaper than the standard BA LHR-LHR joyride.

Closest I've ever been to the Concorde was back in 2000, not too long after the AF crash, when I saw the one AF had parked @ JFK. Prior to the crash and temporary grounding, BA was supposed to be bringing it in to ATL for a charter flight (Advertised for it in the paper as well) and I thought that was when I was going to finally see it.

USAir & BA flew a Concorde into CMH for a special exhibition flight in 1985 & then again in 1995, 1996 & 1997. The deal was a one-hour sightseeing flight out of & back into CMH for $300/person. My parents ended up buying two tickets on the 1995 flight...my mom & I ended up going & my dad took a ton of pics. It was a birthday present for me & my mom had just finished/survived chemotherapy from a serious bout with Breast Cancer & needed to have a little fun, so my dad let her go.
Here's a trip report I did about 4 years ago on A.net. Sorry some of it's written weird...that's how I posted when I started over there. My dad has some of the pictures at home- I'll see if I can scan them this weekend & if I can, I'll post them. http://www.airliners.net/discussions...ead.main/15139

I flew LHR-JFK 4 months before Concorde was withdrawn from revenue service. I booked the "retirement" special, which got you a flight one-way subsonic (on a 744 for me), and one-way supersonic, for around 4k USD.
As for the service/experience, the takeoff and landing was quite fun. Looking out the (small) window at FL560 was cool. Service can be a bit rushed, since they have less than 3 hours to serve a multi-course meal to ~100 people. Eating caviar with a mother-of-pearl spoon is nice
Wished I had a video camera with me on my flight, my digital ran out of battery in the BA 1st/Concorde lounge, so all I had was my film SLR on the plane. I did see Paul Simon in the lounge. Also got a massage in the Molton Brown Spa which Concorde pax can use before the flight in LHR.

Narrow, felt either even a Caravelle or a Bac 111 to be roomier, and actually both those had a wider cross-section, crampy, speed and mystique worked well in helping one to forget she was really an uncomfortable one to fly
