  • Airplane makes forced landing in Cardiff

An aeroplane has crash-landed in a street on the outskirts of Cardiff.
South Wales Police said the twin-seater Cessna 150 light aircraft had to make an emergency landing in Wentloog Road, St Mellons, on Saturday afternoon.

    ...

"They must have been really lucky. Those aircraft carry about eight litres of fuel and it's pretty volatile fuel, so anything could have happened."

I love it when the ask the publics opinion, and print it before realising they have NO IDEA what they're talking about!!

I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete

Same here. When the Il-76's were banned from the dutch airfields there were stories in the newspapers from the people who complained about them like, 'those Ilyushin's are flying fuel bombs....'
Well it always 'fun' to read those stories about such incidents.... Like the Onur Air story A lot of BS.
