    Interesting.....

I notice they take special time to make sure everyone knows that the jets are Boeings and Gulfstreams but doesn't bother to mention that a) thats all the US government really has to use and b) what type of airplane they are. That leads me to belive that Newsweek was just taking a cheap jab at 2 "conservative" companies and the people that work for them.
THE VOICE OF REASON HAS SPOKEN!
Pop quiz: Which US president said, "Saddam Hussein has spent the better part of this decade, and much of his nation's wealth, not on providing for the Iraqi people, but on developing nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them."
George W. Bush is not correct. It was Bill Clinton in his 1998 State of the Union speech. HMMMMMMMMM.

Sure Mr. Politics. You must still be bitter at Newsweek for exposing the truth about the prison abuse!

Interesting reading. For once, some journalist made their jobs more or less properly by involving every party including the spotter, whose activity is pretty well outlined, which is RARE as usually we are seen as nuts at best or screwy at normal times by many a media professional !

Most Americans polled recently have no problem with prison torture of terror suspects. Myself included.

Actually, most Europeans polled felt the same way that we did- they believed that torture was OK. And 90% of the South Koreans polled advocated torture. So it isn't purely an American thing...

Id like to know who they poll, as myself and everyone I know (including 1 Marine and 1 Army soldier) were completely appalled at the news reports, and feel all soldiers involved should have been thrown in Leavenworth for several years for crimes against humanity. They are only different from Hitler in that they stopped short of killing the prisoners...

Funny how also most of the senate also agrees that Torture is wrong. If the "Majority" always won, why is a new law being passed???

Funny you should say that , considering America is apparently the land of the free what ever happened to "innocent until proven guilty in a court of law" ?

these guys are only SUSPECTS !
they don't deserve to have the shit kicked out of them any more than you or I do.

Is Sadam a Suspect or innocent? He admitted to killing people, he should be shot or even better, put through the meat grinders he had his son put people through.

Sorry, having a dog bark at you while your head is covered is not torture. Pushing your head underwater while you can't breath. But most of the stuff the media has labeled as "torture" is pure trash IMO......

Well, maybe should book a trip to Guantanomay Bay or one of these secret torture camps and when you come sell your story for big money...
Pushing your head underwater while you can't breathe IS torturing and you and I know this is not the only method of torturing. There are 'millions' of othre ways to put the pressure on suspects.

but this is an 'Aviation Discussion Forum' and not a 'Torture- is it allowed or not Forum'.
