US Coast Guard gets ready to test UAV

This is interesting. The USCG will be testing and deploying an unmanned aerial vehicle called Eagle Eye. I first heard about this in Aviation Week and Space Technology. Here's an article that gives some background.

This is great for the coast gaurd. while the UAV's are tracking boats smuggling in drugs, the man power can concentrate on rescues and such.

-capability of flying a very low speed/high altitude at will and without being detected.
