  • Zurich airport says Delta Air Boeing B-767 made emergency landing

ZURICH (AFX) - Unique Flughafen Zurich AG, the operator of Zurich Kloten
airport, said a Delta Air Lines Boeing B-767 en route to the US city of Atlanta
from Zurich this morning made an emergency landing after its pilot reported
problems with one of the plane's engines.
The aircraft took off shortly after 10.00 am and returned to Zurich airport
where it landed safely at 10.19 am, it said.
Some 158 passengers and 11 flight staff left the aircraft safely. The
incident had no big impact on air traffic.

Interesting 19 minutes later, no fuel dumping, that plane wont be in service for very long time especially since they landed that heavy.

The heavy landing check takes about an hour. Of course that depends on whether the rate of descent and how the Capt "greased" it onto the runway.
