My dads a Transport Canada Inspector, so Kevin came out one day with him and I. The "live TV" was MEL'd on the WJ planes he boarded - they explained it was like that on many flights.

Done....I guess you guys know more about no shows than I do! It just makes it difficult to reserve a seat at times, and as past experience proves, even having a confirmed seat does not mean you will get on the plane! I just think it is a little nasty to keep selling tickets on a plane to people that might be more inclined to book an earlier or later flight with more available seats if they had the straight goods presented to them, particularily someone who must travel on a given day.

    Hi,
Sorry but I've been on day's off.

AC127-22Jan presently (19:05-21Jan) has 10J and is -4Y seats. Flt is oversold by 4Y. No show is 9%.

A78jumper send me a PM with your name. I'm on shift at 06:00-22.

    Dale

At the time the ticket was booked, WJ was far more expensive. They obviously released some cheaper seats to try to fill their aircraft. Second I am going to YMM and not Edmonton, and the second leg is where the seat cost increases huge with WJ. Third, I am not available to leave Pearson at 0715, nor is my accomodation available until late afternoon. As of now, there are no seats available for selection, at least on line, yet they still are offered for sale.

Sure beats no IFE at all .

Out of the 7 flights I did with Westjet last weekend, NONE were late and all IFE worked just fine .
Who cares, he booked for AC, its 2 days away. now almost 1. Kinda hard to get a cheap ticket now.

Uhh and AC has IFE, and in a few months, all A/C except the reigonals will have Personal IFE.

There are other options available that still have seats, and I think most people would rather be told the truth than be sold a bill of goods that does not exist. Bring back the 767 on this route!!! Furthur those plain jane Tango customers without elite status that are not able to reserve a seat until they get to the airport are going to be more than a little pissed, especially if they bought their tickets months ago. Bad move AC removing seat confirmations from your lowest fares.
Go try out WestJet, they never overbook And there is only 1 class to worry about .
