if I was boeing, I'd fill it with seats just to make it so airbus doesn't really have the largest passenger aircraft

Dear God, someone said it looked like the A380 was eating the 747 which in a way it does!

Actually what the 744 is showing there is that it has no trouble piggybacking an A380

It looks like an A380 mated with a 747 and made this-yuck!

Hey, the A300-Beluga ain't no looker either, but it has been getting the job done for decades. I don't care what it looks like, once it gets 787s built, then that's all good. BTW, with the launching of the A380, does it mean that the Beluga will be retired? I mean, will an A380F take the place of the Beluga?

A380Beluga, I don't think so in the short and medium term. First Airbus will have to reposition the cockpit area to retain the full access on main floor on the way they did to obtain Beluga from the A300-600. But in the long term, why not.

I think it will be one of the most complicated re-modified aircraft ever.
Repositioning the cockpit seems to sound hard. How about a swingtail instead like this BLCF...??

I think AB will be keen to avoid the ground handling hassle they used to go along when operating the Super Guppys. They will probably rather go forward in altering the 380 instead.
