Northwest Airlines posts July profit of $101 mln
NEW YORK, Aug 31 (Reuters) - Northwest Airlines Corp. , which is restructuring its operations under bankruptcy protection, on Thursday reported net income of $101 million for July.

The airline also said it recorded $39 million in reorganization expenses, primarily consisting of charges related to aircraft rejection.

Now just give the FA's something good so we can all continue to move on.

This will just give the f/a's more excuse to ask for more now that the airline is "profitable." It will be interesting to see how this works itself out.
