Looking forward to a nice side-by-side take-off of the IL-96 with an AC A343. The IL-96 gracefully takes off into the skies...

and the Earth-Hugger tries desperately to get off the ground .

I usually just listen to the approach freq. I can usually get from one end of the airport to the other from the time they get to 3000ft (with out breaking traffic laws even...well, 70 down Airport road insted of 60. Dixie is 70 anyway)

Interesting, looks tourism business to Cuba keeps surging. On the spotter point of view, it's definitely a nice addition as the IL96 is a rare bird across North American skies. Will be good should CUB adds frequencies afterwards.

Is Cubana still sending the IL96 on the 17th? CU 180 is listed as an A320 on www.cubana.cu

Equipment change thnks to high loads on this specific return. Thing that also happen regularly.
