Hopefully OKC gets n/s's to JFK via DL Conn. I wouldn't mind trying this service out myself even though I would like connecting at FRA.

VS will start operating the 346 between LHR and DEL this winter.

The Spartan School of Aeronautics and Technology (based in Tulsa) will likely have a base set up in India for training pilots. This will definitely be welcome in light of the pilot shortage.

DL previously opped their 772ERs at 648K.lbs, which made sense considering they pretty much didn't go anywhere other than France and the UK for the first four years that they had them. However, a route like this would hit them pretty hard at that MTOW, so wondering if they've upped them to 656K? Would imagine they'd want to, particularly with TLV, ICN, and other Asian destinations that are/will be coming onboard.

Why not? Refueling the plane, even for such a long flight, should take no longer than 90 minutes.

Thanks for this other wealth of interesting news. Award in surprise categories certainly goes to Spartan, which altogether outsmarts Flight Safety.
