  • Air France Livery

Does anyone have an idea when the current Air France livery was introduced? Must have been in the early 80s late 70s, I guess.

    Thanks for your help!

Final selection form design contests : 1974/75.
First aircraft : the first Concorde delivered
      First flights : 1976-1976-1976 ..... First scheduled flight 21st January 1976
Originally slatted for the Concorde, the livery was then selected for the reminder of the fleet.
First subsonic aircraft to re-emerge from the paintshop was a good old 707-328B in Sept 1976.
Was never painted on Caravelle IIIs

Hmmm I have a very old postcard of one of AF A300s, Looks pretty much similar to this one and the background seems familiar too. Could it be the very same photographer. I'm suprised to see this livery on the A300. I think it's one of the best scheme at that time. Next came the Lufthansa with the silver belly. Third is the Timeless Air India.
