Sky Wings finally suspended operations by by Aug. 16th. This final blow was caused by heavy delays during their operations in the UK for "Seguro Holidays" and the resulting termination of the contract for Sky Wings.
At least one MD-83 was operated for Seguro while the other MD-80 was flown on behalf for other airlines during the last few months including Air Memphis and Air Moldova.
The costumers of Seguro Holidays will now be transported by bmi british midland and Futura during the remaining summer season.
