  • Nepal Airlines sacrifices goats...

KATHMANDU (Reuters) - Officials at Nepal's state-run airline have sacrificed two goats to appease Akash Bhairab, the Hindu sky god, following technical problems with one of its Boeing 757 aircraft, the carrier said on Tuesday.

Yeah, I heard TWA sacrificed a cow back in 1996. Must have really pissed off Akash Bhairab with that one.

Maybe investing in better maintenance would have been better than investing in goats to sacrifise, but then I'm probably thinking too Western here.

Some days I'd like to sacrifice the mechanics!

They work (?) on a totally different timetable than the airline does.

I personally dont get the point in worshipping a god that insist on death to make it happy.

Airline:We couldnt maintain our planes so here are two goats we will kill for you
God:Thank yuo, death always makes me happy.

I dunno, i just dont get it.
