  • Egypt Air operating a B747-400

Egypt Air seem to have a B747-400 (from Corse Air France) operating flights to Saudi Arabia over the next week weeks. Probably due to the high demand as Ramadan starts next week.

Should be the ideal aircraft for Hadj flights, after all Corsair crams 580 seats into their 744s. Can't get any more capacity than that .

Oh so they are going after a larger aircraft, huh. Since the past few years, they have always leased MYT DK's A330's for a couple of weeks.. Maybe Garuda Indonesia will continue then....

Just wait until the A380 starts in high density configuration...no wonder EK has so many on order.

The passengers won't be bothered anyway, they travel like that all the time to Hajj. Just look at the boats

Does anyone have any flight numbers that Corsair will operate during the lease?

                    Thanks in advance.

Isn't the upper deck large enough for 72 Y seats? Would up the seat count to no less than 630 seats in an all-Y layout .
