Starting December, Cathay Pacific is moving the HKG-ANC-YYZ A343 flights to become non-stop HKG-YYZ flights using A346 and eventually 773ER. The flight numbers will change from CX828/829 to CX826/827. YYZ to HKG is to remain an overnight flight. Instead of arriving at HKG at 07:35, now the non-stop flight will arrive at HKG at 04:40.
In December, A346 non-stop will serve 3 times a week and A343 via ANC will continue as 4-times-a-week service. In January, the A346 non-stop service will take over completely. Further delivery of more 773ER will see the type replacing A346 in February.
