not really, pier F has no A380 gates, and its solely Air Canada and Star Alliance (I think? maybe its just AC). I don't think most of the taxiways at YYZ can handle the weight of the A380.

The A380 was at YUL for an Air France Route Proving flight. No airlines currently are planning on sending their 380s to YYZ, so theres no point in having it stop over.

This news stinks. It was originally supposed to visit DFW today.

There are two gates in Pier F that can handle an A380. Air France has planned all along to operate an A380 on the CDG to YUL route.

Sure would've been interesting to see the A380 at Mirabel as well . Sadly that won't happen.

So is there going to be a thread for all the A380 firsts?

I also thought Toronto would see the 380 before Montreal. Well I guess I was wrong!

it was and still is my impression that Terminal 1 is currently primarily for Air Canada and Star Alliance Members. Apparently I was wrong

Regardless, the A380 has no reason to come to YYZ over YUL that I an see.

btw, comma comes before the space, and it is plural so it is "are" not "is"

                        and what is "jet"?

Bruno, Lufthansa is part of Star Alliance

                            this is jet airways.

it would be cool if lufthansa served toronto.

and how do you say lufthansa?

The airline's name is a combination of Luft (air) and Hansa (the Hanseatic League of northern Germany).

                              And is pronounced as looft-hun-za
