  • Way to go Bournemouth Airport

    Hi all,
Found this article on BBC how Bournemouth Airport is teaming up with local planespotter just like they do in Manchester.

    Link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/e...et/7116688.stm

I wish and hope more airports will follow their step not only in the UK, but also the rest of Europe where there can be problems while spotting.
    Best regards

A good idea indeed although I don't think it will have much practical value.

There is no scheme like it in Manchester (England) though.

It would kind of put me off wanting to visit the airport though if I knew I wasn't a local and that not having an ID card would probably end up with me getting an extra workover from the local boys in blue.

MAN doesn't have an ID scheme. We have however been asked to keep an eye out for anything suspicious and let the police know.

Don't expect to see that implemented at CDG as long Jacques Raeder, the curseable communication and press officer is still around !
