    As Delta Air Lines will add Lagos, to be served daily non-stop from Atlanta with 767-300ER, effective Dec 04th.

    Some other news

    Transaero will start serving Port Louis/Mauritius on Dec 30th over the route DVO-JNB-MRU-DVO. Initial frequencies will be a flight every 10 days.

    Douala and Sao Tomé are again linked to each other by Elysan Airlines, which operates the route non stop, twice weekly, with a 30 seat EMB 120.

    TAAG/Angola gets set to add N'Djamena, Bangui and Addis Abeba, all to be served twice weekly over the routes LAD-BGF-NDJ & vv together with LAD-ADD.

    Glad to see expansion to Africa from a US carrier, they really lack in that sector.

      And in just 7 months in June 08, DL will also be adding JFK-LOS/CAI/DKR and onward flights from DKR to NBO and CPT as well .

        LOS also from JFK, .... so much for North American !
        NBO, well good to see the return of the US airliner here
        CPT, original pick ... so much for SA in just focusing on JNB
