    WOW! Didn't use much runway that one, did it?
    Norwegian carrier Wideroe demonstrating STOL and slow flight perfomance of its DHC Dash-7 airliner during 1987 airshow Sola Airport in Norway

      Love the Dash-7. You can't beat that acft. Unfortunately airlines didn't want the 4 engines. I was at the Roll-out in Downsview for the Dash-7 in March 1975.

        Was it me, or did it sound like it was in reverse pitch even before touchdown?

              that thing looks like it needs only 150ft to stop, lol t/o is slower, but still impressive

              yes i am a boeing fan, and i know thats a airbus, haha

                    Another reason to rent about elapsed time
                    According to the background during the final seconds, combination of nice shooting conditions and an imperial cast graced the show.
                    Otherwise, even though there probably were just the cockpit crew members on board + minimal amount of fuel to optimize the presentation, it's good to see the fabulous Dash 7 on action. Going along with Dale, too few were built !
