Going by looks and sound I'd say the Lear 25.
But if I was going to buy one to fly I'd probably choose the Citation Mustang. Nice avionics and not too intimidating as far as handling goes (so I hear anyway).

If I had the dough, I would buy either of my two most favorite BJ's (or preferably both!)

                  1) Cessna Citation X

                  2) Airbus ACJ (IAE V2500s being required!)

Definately the Gulfstream G550, long range, quiet , fast, and has the extreme look at me factor!
Advancements in air travel have only come so far...only to plummet

ABSOLUTELY!!! I love the aircraft, and IMHO, one of the best aircraft ever produced! Just a fantastic aircraft. As fo as overkill goes, I like the look of BBJs, and then again, there is the proposed 787BJ, which would look soo sleek.

Admittingly the Jetstar is quite special
My favorite however is the mighty G-1159 Gulfstream IIB and its later added winglets but off still retaining the cockpit windows inherited from the G-159
