What's up with the white engines?

It's great to see that BA is finally going to replace some of its rickety Boeing 767 and Boeing 747-400s with brand new Boeing 787s and Airbus A380s, respectively. However, it's weird that the Boeing 787 in the picture has white engines, instead, of the traditional blue engines. Does anyone know why?

its due to aerodynamics, the particles, pigment? in the paint can cause drag, which means efficient, more gas, less miles, so, only white or gray paint is allowed, dunno if its special or not, but thats how crazy drag/efficiency issues are these days, but i think someone will know more about this
