  • Expressjet Airlines New Service?

It has been a while since I have heard anything about them, and I was wondering if they were going to serve any new cities. I heard a rumor about Alb being served but that did not happen. Does anyone know if they plan on starting any new places or routes? Thanks.

Operating for Delta Connection, Continental Express, or on their own?

I wish I worked for Delta
AVL to ATL and CVG on Delta

My virtual airline is located here.

I assume he's referring to branded.

Sorry, I mean't the Expressjet airlines itself, not delta connection or anything. I was wondering if they were going to expand anymore in the east from maybe JAX or RDU or anywhere for that matter.

Any XJet-branded flying being added would only be temporary anyway. p2p RJ-flights and $100 fuel make for one hell of a disastrous business plan.

Not gonna make much of a difference...

Yeah, but its progress. And even $1 makes a big difference when you consider how much fuel an airline needs for the fleet.

Regardless, Expressjet going alone doesn't seem like it'll work too well...

It doesn't really make a difference if they lose "only" $30 million instead of $32 million. XJet would need oil at around $60 if they want to be profitable. Would it not be for their flying for Delta and Continental, they'd probably have already to file for CH11.
