          NIce Model.

I'm still waiting for the day, when a group of filthy rich enthusiasts frees a concorde from the museum and takes her back to the sky.
Where can i get one of those stylish JP.net banners? - Got it!

You stole the words right outta my mouth.

The world needs the Concorde, the Stratosphere is barren without its most beloved inhabitant.

As i remember from a dream of mine Lord Krishna was flying the Concorde, Jesus was the first officer & Allah the Flight Engineer no harm/insult or offence intended

SQ never flew the concord. it was flown in colaberation with BA. and your all forgeting about Braniff international who operated it for a little while but retired it because no one was wanting to pay the high prices

AC was among the airlines which placed options

Bona fide operators were AF and BA

SQ was a wet lease with BA

Adding to the list was Braniff which operated the bird on domestic serctors between IAD and DFW with their own crews. BN had clinched an agreement with both AF and BA the most visual outcome was
                    - aircraft arrived from either CDG or LHR
                    - docked at gate
                    - application of a sticker with the US "registration" (N94AF or BA) carefully on the space filled by the regular rego, right after the - dash following the G or F identificator.
                    - aircraft then flew the return to DFW under BN call sign and proper flight number
                    - return to gate at IAD, remove the US "registration", back to base.

Even you had more than enough financial resources, I think the regulatory complications would prevent any such return to flight.

Sadly, I must agree. The only way the aircraft could return to the air would be as an experimental aircraft, no passengers.

EADS pulled the type certificate-as Don said, it could only be flown as an experimental. Also, I am sure that the resources required to get one airworthy and insured would be astronomical.
