    Sorry for the late reply,

Yep the E75/E90's are the most fuel efficient in AC's fleet. They drink about 20% less fuel per seat mile than an A320. The Triple 7's are the most fuel efficient of the widebodies. The A345's were dumped because they had a fuel burn about 4% over promised.

I would like to see a few of those converted into freighters.

Too bad they aren't the most reliable planes in AC's fleet, that would make them a killer fleet .

Does that apply to the combined 77L/77W fleet? And if so, is there a noticeable difference between the 77L and the 77W?

An Airbus underperforming, no way .

Or maybe it's gotten to the point where UA's fares are too uneconomical for the planes they have. LH also operates 733s and 735s, just as old as UA's, yet they make a profit with their 737s.

What are the W and L in these designations?

          737WL, 738WL, 739WL, 77W, 77L?

777-300ER, 773 was already taken for the non-ER, so there had to be another 3rd digit. No idea why the "W", but personally I would save it stands for "WoW, What aWesome performance" .
