Did a search, and didn't really find the answer... BA 777s, are registered G-YMM-, G-ZZZ-, and G-VII-... but one oddball, G-RAES... why? I know the RAES is for Royal Aeronautical Engineering Socety, was this done in tribute? It seems odd to have one lone 777 out of the normal sequences.
BTW, G-RAES was here in Dallas today, operating BA 193/192.
every airline has a special plane, and that one was it... in there 777 fleet of course, there a380 will be the special plane in there fleet soon, cant wait to see it
