I might try and make it to VCV if I figure out a way to see them come in.

Thanks Dale. I saw fin 611 doing a turn at gate 3 YUL from the Maple Leaf Lounge on Monday night. Things have sure changed over a few years with all the new E190s and 777's entering the fleet.

That's a shame not a single one is set for preservation by a Canadian major museum.

Just 3 left tonight (Oct 28/29). The last revenue flight for an AC B762 is on Saturday November 1st. AC105 departs YYZ at 10:00 ETA YVR at 12:20 and turns to AC148 back to YYZ at 13:30 with an ETA into YYZ at 20:59.

I believe the first AC7056 was actually 7065.
Yesterday's flights were split evenly between TUS and ABQ before heading to ROW. Why would they stop elsewhere first?

I agree. The infamous Gimli Glider should have been repainted in it's original livery and donated to an aviation museum, much in the same way that AC donated a former PWA 737 (C-GIPW) to the museum in Edmonton, in it's original colors.

Always thought and keep thinking Gimli Glider is "THE" candidate and should be the one to be repatriated. In addition to the aircraft, the event is an exemple of unique mastery in flying.

Quite sad that these birds are leaving Air Canada, is there going to be another ceremony like like the one that they had in Montreal when the Gimli Glider was Retired.

Once again quite a sad day for Air Canada
