  • WN - "Sports Illustrated One"

Southwest Introduced "Sports Illustrated One" this morning at LGA as part of a partnership with the world's most widely-read magazine issue. The airline used the event to reach millions of potential customers in the New York City area. The aircraft (N922WN) will fly with the special wrap featuring model Bar Rafaeli for a couple of months. She makes her way to Las Vegas tonight.

I will most definitely be interested in catching this bird. Wish they could have painted the whole bird different instead of the patchwork paint.

By far one of the best looking special guest introducing the dedicated aircraft I've ever seen. Kudos for WN in planning the event.

The ones for Sky in Europe were so much better.

So what was the point of going through all that trouble to have it only fly around for a month?

As Tanner said, WN got quite a pretty penny for the "flying billboard" to put it quite nicely.

A great agreement between SI and WN, shows great advertisement and income for both companies.

Money, Honey, is what it is ALL about!
