I called this quite some time ago when there was lots of excitement about seeing the FDX triple in ANC. Here is an interesting article:
Unfortunately for Alaska there is significant cost and time savings by avoiding ANC stops between China and Memphis. That is one of the main reasons this equipment was so attractive to FDX to begin with. There is alot more of this to come. I predict a gradual FDX scaleback in Alaska on the Express side.
They may indeed see it but it will be at full altitude pulling contrails.
