  • Children's Book on Xian MA60

Hi I have a total fascination for the Xian MA60 especially in Southern Africa. I decided to write a children's book on the aircraft and added some great photographs to it. Below is the summary. If you are interested in buying a copy please contact me or visit:

This book was written to bring to light the positive aspects of flying in a unique aeroplane called Tim. Tim is African-owned and a member of an impressive fleet of Air Zimbabwe aircraft. He is very nice and comfortable inside. He has a neat cockpit and is piloted by a crew of two. He is happy to give a excellent service that is generally bump free. He responds dilligently to all commands instructed to him by the pilots. He needs to be balanced during flight and ideally equal seating arrangements on either side of the isle are important. This book describes Tim’s journey from Bulawayo’s Joshua Nkomo Airport to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo Airport. It is written for children and hopefully provides and interesting read to those who like flying. It also opens up details about the Xian MA60 which may be of interest to the young plane spotter. It is also hoped that this book will lessen people’s fear of flying.

I'm more than a little scared about where this thread might go. For starters, I find someone having a "total fascination" with a glorified An-24 more than a little disturbing.

Owned? I thought it was damp leased. Impressive fleet AZ? You have to be alone on that
      opinion on this site.
