Since when does the definition of a "city airport" include the runway length limit of 6000ft? Or is that just your arbitrary limit?

There are many airports in the world that are located at the city core, cannot grow in terms of capacity and size as they are surrounded by built-up areas already, but many of them have runways longer than 6000ft. Most of them have runways shorter than 2200m, but some of them is large enough to even handle 747s.

To satisfy your 6000ft limit, besides Santos Dumont Airport in Rio that AJ mentions, there are also Stockholm's Bromma Airport (BMA) and Sapporo Okadama Airport (OKD).

Most growth-restricted city airports are shadowed by a much larger counterpart serving as the primary international gateway of the cities they serve. Some of the airports that are considered growth-restricted city airports are:

Makes me wonder why I bothered answering!
As I stated the runway at Aeroparque Jorge Newbery in Buenos Aires exceeds your runway length criteria by 890ft, it is 6,890ft. Why are you contradicting that?
