Looks like the LCC days are long gone for Virgin Blue, transitioning to a full-servce carrier. The new name is reportedly Virgin Australia, and will be a combination of Virgin Blue, V Australia and Pacific Blue. The new brand will have business class.

Good luck to it, although I thought Virgin Blue by itself was doing quite well against QF to begin with.
