    Daley, who was returning after competing in the world diving championships in Shanghai, wrote on Facebook: "Just had to make an emergency landing in Irkutsk, Russia on the way back from Shanghai. Here's the pic of the fuel dump before landing."
    Um, had you been on Twitter/Instagram, it was all the rage. Truly, I posted this to have you read the comments about the story, on the news websites. Seriously, some of these 'aviation experts' should be used as test dummies...

    Damn, I guess the recession affected standards too.

    Anywho, the everyday public knows zilch about commercial aviation-- that is news?

      As an Aussie, my allegiance will always be first and foremost for Matt Mitcham.

      But that aside, people who post on those sorts of news forums are unlikely to be experts in anything...

        The aircraft landed after smoke was detected in the aft cargo area. No smoke or fire was detected after landing.
