The two carriers have sought permission from Korean authority to serve the Tehran, only one will get approved, reports an Iranian blog. Iran Air had served Seoul from 2002 onwards for some years with a 747SP. in the 1970s a Korean Airl Lines Cargo 707C had crashed there.
