  • 'guy in a jetpack' flying near planes on approach at Los Angeles

Apparently two planes coming in to land reported seeing a 'guy in a jetpack' at their altitude (3000 feet) and 300 yards away from their aircraft on approach to LAX. Obvious safety issues there!

Wow. Who has the resources (and the balls) to acquire and operate such a capable jet pack and at the same time has the brain of an ant to do so in the area of the final approach to LAX?

Supposedly pilots confused a guy flying a jet pack with a balloon

Authorities think they know what's behind those jetpack sightings over Los Angeles (nbcnews.com)
