Can only fly it in the US? Never heard of such a thing! As long as he is under 65. And if it is not flown commercially, he could be 90.
I think the issue was his Part 125 certificate was US-only. Plus, he always had to have a "mother hen" as PIC due to being limited to 3rd class medical, because of seizure history.
