Both Air Canada and United have been trying to fly thru birds lately, however unsuccessfully for the birds. I remember going into Ontario, Calif. one afternoon in a DC-9. Two ducks straight ahead, The lead duck looked over his shoulder and then did a perfect split S and went under us. His partner kept perfect formation and followed. But I do remember seeing a Continental Airlines DC-9 in the gate in Oaklahoma, City with a duck sticking out of the radome.
