        Fire Boeing management.

Did they take their carry-ons when they deplaned?

Ouch. That's gonna take a lot of speed tape.

Methinks the crew was focused elsewhere. I think one pilot should always focus on driving until they put it in park.

Who is actually at fault here? The A350 reported that they were on centerline and following tower instructions to proceed past the RJ which perhaps the tower should have considered. It seems like an unsafe separation on their part. Of course, that's what the cockpit windows are for... Maybe they split the bill.

I think it was rudder reversals without pausing at neutral.

Nope. That's 6 month old and it's about a pilot that doesn't know how to readback, no collision.

I’m thinking this is 99% on the Airbus crew. Had there been a big plane holding short, I’m guessing there wouldn’t be adequate clearance…I don’t think allowing type-specific pass-behinds is a good procedure for ATC.

I guess it might have been nice to for ATC to ask if the 350 could pass behind. Then again, El Capitan needs to say gee, that’s tight…you better watch for me and let me crawl by.

This is why I always tell my FOs "If you're not sure, smash the brakes, we'll talk about it later. If you stop the airplane and it turns out you didn't need to, I'll buy you a beer. If you stop the airplane and it turns out you DID need to, I'll buy you a case of scotch! So, worst case scenario is you're getting a beer."
