Yikes. I hope the Haiti incident hasn't inspired a new wave of idiots to start shooting at planes. All it takes is one person to start it, then the news spreads, and then others with bad intentions get a new idea of something they can do to cause harm.

I remember a report about arabs shooting guns in the air in celebration, and numerous deaths resulting from the bullets coming back down. Guns attract idiots. Maybe, if a bullet gets lodged in an airplane, it will save a life on the ground. You have to look at the bright side here.

Yes but that bullet hitting the aircraft could hit a passenger killing them instead also the bullet hole will mean the aircraft won’t fly until it is fixed so really there is no bright side to this
