1.The Captain always makes the rules.
2.Rules can change anytime, no notice needed.
3.If the Co-Pilot knows the rules, the Captain changes them immediately.
4.The Captain is never wrong. If they are, it’s because of something the Co-Pilot said or did!
5.The Captain can change their mind anytime; the Co-Pilot cannot without written consent.
6.The Captain gets ready when they want; the Co-Pilot must always be ready.
7.Documenting these rules? Risky business!

I don’t think Bernt is familiar with In The Shade. My understanding, from his genius, was that the first officer was in charge of monitoring the transponder reply light. (The little, but bold, dot is a period.)
