The pilot of an easyJet holiday flight feared his Airbus 319 would be brought down by the French military after an electrical fault cut off all radio communication, a safety report by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch has revealed.
Whoa! Maybe the planes need flashing lights code as a backup. I read another story on this and my instant thought went: So, no battery backup to at least get a message off that the generator is offline? As I only slightly humorously suggested, maybe the pilots could flash Morse code on the plane's lights (unless they used the same defunct generator)
Amazing how many components on a plane can cause a crisis if they stop working.
