  • Air France high-speed RTO due to problems with the luggage

    Weight shift?
Load miscalculation and too slow acceleration without TOPMS?
    Bomb threat?

    No...

An Air France Airbus A340-300... tower instructed the aircraft to reject takeoff... crew to reject takeoff at high speed (about 130 knots over ground)... smoke was observed from the landing gear... Emergency services responded and cooled the brakes... delay of 22.5 hours... tower received a call from the airline to have the aircraft return to the gate due to missing luggage
    Only in (Air) France....

Well that sure calls for some parlour talk and keyboard judgmentalism.

We should probably wait for the final report, but that sure seems eye rolling and questionable.

Is there some way that instinctive relentless pull ups relate to this?
