  • Reshaped Nose Cone on Oklahoma Thunder NBA Basketball Charter

This incident involved the Oklahoma Thunder NBA Basketball team and there seems to be a bit of a mystery as to the cause:

Some accounts I've read seemed to indicate that it happened very high - 30K feet. I'm curious - at what height do you pilots stop worrying about birds?

What are your theories as to what caused this?

    Thanks!

    Chris

I sort of answered my own question with regard to how high birds can fly - pretty interesting article. Net/net, some can fly high - like AMAZINGLY high!

        The bird: Did it died?
Les règles de l'aviation de base découragent de longues périodes de dur tirer vers le haut.
