Ironingly, this is not the first time that video + Evan references has been shown. It is indeed good and I hope the kiddo, UNLIKE Evan, will spend some time on his bicycle to learn that sometimes people make mistakes and crash.
Regarding braking, I’d prefer to disregard the senility aspect and focus on why a broad fundamental concept that not locking tires is generally a good thing was displaced by highly detailed, type specific, heavily trained, procedure specific knowledge that 3000 PSI is somehow important.

"Ironingly"? or Ironically ? Funny, the three of us discussed you two over burgers and beers Thursday night after the Sim. It's hard to really picture a face with only a screen name and reading what someone writes. We figured 14-17 years old and really good with Google.

The beautiful thing about the kid in this video is that he is obviously like me in those two respects. When I was a kid there were kids like me and there were bullies who, when it came right down to it, were never going to be very smart. They probably knew this as well, and they made up for it by jeering at the kids who studied, ridiculing them for their curiosity and their reading. What I didn't know then was that the world of the future, in spite of all the smart adults—the ones who were curious from a young age—would become ruled by brutality, by people who could do physical things but couldn't think very much at all. So I should have been a bully I guess.
I love that you compare me to this kid. This kid gives me some reason to hope.

There’s no objection to curiousity, enthusiasm and knowledge gain.
The objections come with liberal outside advice (and admonishment) that lacks the full perspective.
I’m guilty of that sometimes and get it when the stupid cowboy pilots bite back.Les règles de l'aviation de base découragent de longues périodes de dur tirer vers le haut.

Come on guys, this kid is not that smart. He thinks the flaps (and not the gear) come down by gravity in case of hydraulics failure.
