    Scheduled Departing time: 11:45AM
    Scheduled Arriving Time: 12:30pm

    Flight- 5908
My grandma and I arrive at MWA at 10:00am. We went a mexican restaurent and ordered drinks. I got a coke. We sit and chat and then i nocticed the plane coming in from STL. Taxied to gate 1 and everyone got off. and by everyone I mean 3 people, and 2 pilots. NOT GOOD!!. We finished our drinks after i checked myself in and keep chatting. Its beautiful weather here, gorgeous, warm and sunny! Perfect flying weather! We sit around and wait for the call for security and boarding. They called for boarding and I lined up to go through secuirty after saying by to my grandma as my parents were at work. Showed my ID, placed the bag on the belt and walked through and set the alarm off. Turns out I forgot to take my watch off. I went back through with it off and went w/o the alarm going off. After collecting my bags from the belt i walk to a seat near one of the doors leading to the plane. After everyone else gets through and sits I count 15 people, This is a very good load, as the plane can only hold 19 people. Once we are cleared to board we line up at the door and hand our boarding pass to get torn in half then we walk out on the ramp to the plane. I get on board and sit down at 7A. The door closes and then the pilots give the safety briefing. As there is no service on board and no F/A. We taxi to the runway, take off and we turn left heading west. We fly to the mississippi river then turn right to fly parallel to it as we head to STL. It felt so good to be back in the air. My last flight was Feb. I am only happy when im in the air. We proceed at 220 MPH at 6,000 ft I believe. As we get near STL we encounter few clouds which made for fun turbulence. We turn lft into missouri and then right to line up for runway R12R. We land and slow down as a Southwest in old colors with winglets taxi by to take off on R12L. We taxi to gate B-14. I get off, get my suitcase and head inside the airport. I got to the bathroom, and then i go tour the D Concourse. My god its such a sad sight to see its totally empty and dirty and very broken up place. This is NOT the STL Im used to seeing. Only activety is some cleaners walking by and some pilots yakking on there cell phone as they walked by. Then i continued to the E Concourse which is liek stepping into a CLEAN, NEW WORLD!! The E terminal is brilliant, a masterpiece. Home to Southwest Airlines and 3 charter flights. Very busy and 4 planes were at the gate. 2 old 733, and 1 737 old colors w/ winglets and a Blue Canyon 737 w/ winglets. I snapped the Blue Canyon w/ winglets toured the E terminal then walked around and back to the C Concourse. I walked to gate C-10 and sat down for a nice long 3 hour layover. I saw some F-15 I think taking off and landing, some AA 757's, US Airway CRJ taxing, a NWA DC-9-30 in new colors, and then an ambulance and a police car went by to the A concourse, but i couldnt see which plane or airline they were attending to?!? I called my mom and grandma, and my cousin and Adam and pete but pete was at work. Well, this continues.......

    STL-DFW
    Scheduled Departure-4:00pm
    Scheduled Arrival-5:55PM
    Actual Departure 4:10pm
    Actual Arrival 5:44pm

When it was 3:00pm, it started getting busy around the gate. Then at 3:30pm which was the scheduled time to board the plane had just landed and now arrived at the gate. I could tell we would probably be late taking off. The plane arrived from DFW ironically. The passengers got off and then when called for boarding at 3:45pm. After groups 1 and 2 were called I lined up for group 3. Boarded the plane (N911TW <---- Got a weird feeling after seeing that as it coincedized with the 9/11 Attacks.) Anyhow I shrugged it off and got to my seat -25F. Sat down, buckled up. We had a Male Captain and a female Co-Captain. All of our flight attendents were Males. After everyone sat down the F/A went over the briefing and safety stuff. We backed out at 4:05 pm. As we were taxing one fo the F/A was walking by and we shifted slightly and made him stumble and he almost fell onto one of the passenger, let out a whoops and "im terribly sorry" and then walked to his seat. got a chuckle out of that one then i stared at the window as we taxied to Runway R31L. We taxied by the Southwest gates and I saw a commotion going on. It seemed there was a Southwest plane off the ramp parked with 2 police cars around it with the lights flashing and the ramp agents surrounidng the plane. What seemed like half the plane off (unless that was everyone, otherwise thats a small load....) and kinda in a circle near the front door on the ramp. The plane in question was N602SW. So if anyone knows let us know please. Then we turned left to R 31L and immediatly started the take off. We turned left and then kept climbing. about 4:36pm we leveled out and the F/A began the service. I got coke and pretzels. Finsihed them quickly and then read the magazine and book. at about 5:25pm we started the descent into DFW, F/A and crew were asked to clean up plane and sit down for landing. Few minutes of approach was spent in sun, then clouds, then sun till it finally decied to land with the sun behind us lol. We landed as a DL 767 began its take off. I dont know what runway we landed on however i do recall looking to the right where the DL 767 was and seeing R 17L. We breaked very hard, i was thrown into my seat. Nice flight, rough landing..... We taxied a short one to gate C-19. The flight would continue onward to ATL. I get off and go to the bathroom.(weak bladder here..hehehe) Called my parents to let them know of my arrival and walked to MCD's across from gate C-23 to grab some dinner. Then finished and walked to gate C-28 for my next flight.

    Actual Departure-7:40pm

I stood by the gate and at 6:45pm the flight arrived from PHL. Everyone got off then the F/A and crews boarded to prepare it for our flight. at 7:05 they announced boarding. I see it was N241AA. This flight was booked solid, and i heard that 5 people were on standby. Very good for AA!! I didnt think it was going to be so full, even F/C was booked, who would pay for more room and more food if they got it for a 1 hr scheduled flight?!?! Anyway, after calling first class and group one i lined up for group to, they scanned my boarding pass and i walked onto the jetway, into the plane. We have 2 Male F/A and 2 female F/A. 3 F/A in coach and one in F/C. Everyone gets on board, f/a do safety procedure and taxi to the runway. couldnt see the runway number, i know it was closest to the A and C terminal. We did take off to the south. Turn left and head north to OKC. we fly for about 20-30 min we had a big tailwind which helped for an early arrival!! We started the approach at 8:05pm. Whoops, forgot to say were served drinks and pretzels, got the same, coke. Wasnt expecting anythign since it was such a short flight!! The approach was very smooth and had a beautiful sunset!! Lnaded on R17L at 8:15pm. Taxied past an American Eagle heading to ORD and a mesaba arriving from MEM. Called my cousin and mom to let them know of the arrival. I walked to baggage claim 4 to meet my cousin, found him and then we went to his house.

Well that was rather long!! Hoped you enjoy it and look out for my OKC-DFW-STL-MWA Flight coming up soon mon or tuesday! Thanks for reading if u made it this far.

I like every detail you had. Are Amer. Conex J31s outfited with galleys or Lavs or either? I know some UEX J31s had galleys. I was on one that had a full on drink service. Kinda strange huh?

Thanks, i was writing notes and little paragraophs as i went along the flight to make sure i documented everything lol, helps to bring good detail as im sure. Amer connex are NOT fitted with LAVS nor gallery. it seats 19 peolpe and has a little empty space to store our carryon luggage as we can't fit it under the seats or in front of us. really makes me appreciates the AA MD80'S MRTC deal. our flight was to short to have drinks or beverages but i was thirsty..ugh..hahah anyway have a good one!
