Background
The Zurich Slide Convention 2004 Edition held on June 27/28th.
Shopping around
On-line, Swiss proved the winner for both the fare (130 Euros) and timetables.
The travel document
None, chose to fly ticketless and altogether skip the 15 Euros service charge for getting a traditionnal paper ticket
Getting from Saint-Cloud to CDG
3 train connections, leading me to depart from home at 5 h 30 am.
However, I arrived late at checking-in as the final train alternated speedy stints with parade low speed runs due to work along the way between Gare du Nord and the Airport. Was finally saved by the airline supervisor.

Cruise level was set at FL.270 and quick inflight service was proceeded with as for food and drinks on European routes, every thing must be paid for on board LX
Starting with a large party of Cameroonians, passengers were pretty much focused on their connections ...
At 08.54 when just off Nancy we started descending. Visibility outside was crisp and the Alps were clearly visible on the right side. Finals were intiated at 09.16
and touching down on runway 14/32 occured 4 minutes later. During the landing roll, one of my two Cameroonian neighboors, a lady seating on 29A made chest-over sign crosses, twice ...Taxy to gate at nearby new Terminal E located off the previous A and B was made in no time... and soon Juliet-Mike was docked at gate E56. Next was the ride on board the frequent two carriage-people-mover to terminal A where actual baggage claim and custom clearance keep being processed with.
